Local filming of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children begins tomorrow, Sat the 21st, only a couple of miles away from the studio! Pretty neat having a large budget motion picture production so close to home, even if it is just a very small part of the final movie. But that means one of my all time favorite figures in cinema, Tim Burton, will be hanging out and enjoying our beautiful city for a few weeks. And that’s amazing in it’s own right:) If Christina and I bump into him at Greenbench, I’ll let ya know!

Congratulations goes out to Marybeth and Michael. They’re hitched!! And it was such a perfect day to be outdoors along our beautiful Gulf Coast. Seriously, this is Winter, right?? 🙂 We all had a great time with the portraits and I just love how we ended things off- with a very formally clothed dip in the water! I’m going to suggest to all my couples from now on. Just sayin’… it was so much fun!!

I’m still in wrapped up in the seasonal frenzy here sitting at my desk chipping away at all the editing to be done. But if I take just a quick moment to reflect on the past year with all it brought my way I recall so many wonderful times and priceless moments. New opportunities, challenges, achievements and most importantly, the time spent with family, friends and clients made 2014 a banner year in every sense! No two ways about it, it’s been a wild ride but so completely amazing! And I’m very, very lucky to have someone as incredible as Christina at my side to help see me through it all, selflessly offering her much valued support, love and creative assistance. I’ve added a load of new skills and refined techniques to my photo toolkit, widened the studio’s range of services, sped up production times, and had the pleasure to have met and worked with a ton of extremely talented people. I couldn’t be more ready to welcome 2015 with open arms:)
I wish you and all the people in your life MUCH LOVE, HEALTH AND SUCCESS IN THE NEW YEAR!
49th Street needed a little sprucing!

Today a little collaboration went a long ways. The City of Gulfport and the City of Saint Petersburg came together to tackle an issue of unsightliness along a busy business and residential corridor. Enter the first annual 49th St Mayors Cleanup. Perfect Fall weather, an energetic crowd and one shared goal of these two beautiful neighboring cities made for a great time today!

A beautiful Water Works Park wedding!

It started out as a pretty overcast, rainy Summer day but the weather completely turned around by ceremony time! Suddenly, there was the SUN. And lots of smiling guests:) Tampa Water Works Park is neatly situated along the winding Hillsborough River which features a lush, tropical setting and a picture-perfect event backdrop! Anne, Chris, their family and close friends all had an amazing time celebrating this new union. Umbrellas came out as a precaution but were ultimately just very colorful props!
